A quiet, traditional village, close to Pefkochori and Chanioti, next to the most beautiful beaches of Chalkidiki; it is situated at the most southern edge of the piney peninsula of Kassandra, in Chalkidiki. It is 120km far from Thessaloniki and 100km far from Macedonia Airport. It is built on a hillock amphitheatrically over Toroneos Gulf, surrounded by a pinewood with mild slopes that one can walk or cross by mountain bike.

Within 5-minute drive, you can reach the most beautiful beaches of Chalkidiki, Chrousso Bay with Xenia, Glarokavos, and the more remote beaches towards Cape Kanastreo. The sea area of Paliouri is suitable for diving, fishing and aquatic sports. In the summertime, a number of sea trips to the other beaches of Chalkidiki and Mount Athos are organized.

The village has full restaurant services, a super market, a butcher’s shop, a fish shop, a bakery, and several traditional tavernas. There is also a community clinic and a pharmacy. At a 9-km distance from Paliouri, you can visit the cosmopolitan village of Pefkochori, which offers nightlife and entertainment, several consulting rooms and many services.
